Dr. Katherine C. Aquino 

Faculty & Quality Assurance Coordinator, Manhattan College


Katherine C. Aquino holds a BS in psychology, MA in school psychology, and a PhD in Higher Education Leadership, Management, and Policy. Her research interests include the socio-academic transitioning into and throughout postsecondary education for students with disabilities and other underrepresented student populations. Her work has been accepted to the Journal of the First-Year Experience & Students in Transition, the Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability, and the Review of Higher Education. Katherine serves as a faculty member and quality assurance coordinator in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at Manhattan College. She was the recipient of the 2015 Disability Determination Grant, awarded by Policy Research, Inc. She is the co-editor and contributing author of Disability as Diversity in Higher Education: Policies and Practices to Enhance Student Success.
