Dr. Crystal Toombs

Assistant Vice President for Student Support at Brenau University


Crystal Toombs, Ph.D., LPC, HS-BSP currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Support at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. She has worked within the field of higher education for the past 13 years, and has experience working in both public and private colleges and universities. She completed her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Mercer University, holds a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the Kent State University in Kent Ohio, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Mental Health, from Wilberforce University. Dr. Toombs research interests include adult student persistence and degree attainment.
