Dr. John Bannister

Instructional Designer, Metropolitan CollegeJohnson C. Smith University


Dr. John Bannister has over a decade working with adult learners, both in campus based and online environment. He is a professor and advisor, and also trains faculty in designing their courses for adult learners. He completed his undergraduate degree as a nontraditional student and continually advocates for this student demographic in various settings. John holds a Ph.D. in Adult Education Leadership, a M.B.A. and Graduate Certificates in Marketing and Educational Technology. He is currently the Instructional Designer for Metropolitan College, at Johnson C. Smith University and the ANTSHE Scholarship Officer.
